Clinic Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Hobler earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University and started Milliken Animal Clinic in August 2010. The clinic originally started as a housecall service but has since grown so much that a brick and mortar establishment was created. Dr. Hobler’s goal is to provide the surrounding communities with quality, affordable veterinary care and to build lifelong relationships with her clients and patients.
Her professional interests include acupuncture, internal medicine, surgery, hospice and end-of-life care. When not working, Dr. Hobler enjoys reading, traveling, and crocheting. She also enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband Reid and their furry children, which include their Great Dane Bunsen; their Boston Terrier, Petri; their Italian Greyhound, C.C., their mixed breed, I.V.; their lovable cats, Bogart and MAC.
Senior Associate Veterinarian
Dr. McGreer was born and raised in a small western Nebraska town. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Kansas State University in 2005, she and her husband, also a veterinarian, practiced outside of Chicago. Upon beginning their family, they moved to Colorado to be closer to family and, well, because it is Colorado! They love the small town feel of the Johnstown-Milliken area and are happy to call it their permanent home. Professionally, Dr. McGreer loves helping people take the best care of their furry family members. She is passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular soft-spot for her older kiddos and finds geriatric medicine, pain management, and ensuring their quality of life very rewarding. An amateur photographer, self-proclaimed explorer, and firm believer of getting the most out of life, when not in clinic she is actively experiencing as much as possible with her family. You may even see her on a local stage where she lets her creativity flow performing in community theatre. For certain, her greatest joys are her wonderful husband and her two beautiful sons. Of course their house is fur-covered from their three dogs (Norman, Velma, and Sir William) and two cats (Tolken and Winnie). It would not be a home without it!
Dr. Marsella earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 2016. His primary interests in veterinary medicine include dentistry and surgery, but he loves everything about the profession. He currently lives in Berthoud with his wife Brandy, two cats (Andy and Scotty), and three dogs (Ursa, Basel, and Ellie). Dr. Marsella is looking forward to meeting all of the wonderful clients at Milliken Animal Clinic!
Dr. Freed grew up on the east coast in a small farming town in the Philadelphia suburbs. While the decision to pursue veterinary medicine wouldn’t be made until later, she had a strong interest in pets of all kinds from a young age, haven taken her bottle fed lamb for ‘show and tell’ and being active in her local 4-H club with her family’s pygmy goats. She attended college at Northeastern University in Boston, receiving her Bachelors of Science in 2012. Afterwards, she relocated to California to obtain her DVM at the University of California Davis. Throughout her professional education, she has found her veterinary passions lie in preventative care and integrative medicine as her favorite part of her job is building long-term relationships with her patients (and their humans). Having always had a love of all things outdoors, after graduation, she decided to fulfill a long time goal of moving to Colorado. She has settled in Loveland, with her rescued rez dog, Xana, and her 2 cats, Mercedes and Benz. Dr. Freed is excited to join the Milliken Animal Clinic team and eager to meet all of you and your furry loved ones!

I’ve lived in Colorado my whole life, and grew up on a farm which made me realize my love for animals. I decided at a young age that I eventually want to be a veterinarian, but any work with animals is enjoyable. I have a dog, Bella, and a cat, Mitchie, that I love to spoil and spend free time with. I also enjoy spending time with my family and travelling as much as possible.
Tipsy is our clinic cat, overseeing all of the inner workings of the clinic. She was found as a kitten, abandoned by her mother. In utero, she was infected with a virus that caused her brainstem to be underdeveloped. While not a painful disease, she has issues with balance and depth perception. Do not be fooled, though, as she loves life and often gets into mischief! When you come in to visit, make it a point to give her extra love and attention and she’ll be your best friend.
When not supervising, Tipsy enjoys long walks on the beach and shopping.
